Zines
the road Zine
‘The Road’ is a zine of poetry in collaboration with artists exploring mental health and self-love.
Working with the theme of cities I created a single collaged tube carriage which I later digitally played with. I grabbed a real record and scanned it in because the grooves of the record reminded me of train tracks, my dad made a very bad joke saying it was the circle line. It was a cool experience collaborating with the ‘the road’ team with their poetry and how my illustration was able to connect with it.

Disconnected Zine
Collaborating with Laura, we experimented with mark-making and illustrations, creating a digital zine ‘Disconnected’. Which explores the body's reaction when exposed to trauma and the many different ways in which trauma can manifest in our behaviours and thoughts.

INTROSPECTION Zine
Collaborating with Keisha in the first lockdown of 2020. We wanted to explore the topic of Introspection. Each page of this zine is a merge of textures, mark-making and illustrations. The examination or observation of one’s own mental and emotional processes. We explored this through emotions of Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance.

The Quarantine Zine
The Quarantine Zine is a collaborative effort to create a community of creatives and allow people to express their thoughts, feelings and frustrations surrounding being in quarantine. My spread was about the feeling of getting all dressed up and not being able to go anywhere, I hope people had some relatability with the feeling.
